On December 20, 2023, the final concert of the year from the "Bulgarian Concert Evenings" initiative took place at the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria. Admirers of classical music from the Bulgarian community and beyond enjoyed the music of Milcho Leviev, Mozart, Schubert and Migo performed by Miryana Moteva (piano) and David Brubaker (violin). The artists were introduced by Laura Al-Ahmad, who also informed about her new musical projects.

Our Consul General in New York, Angel Angelov, shared the history of cooperation between the Consulate General and the concert initiative, dating back to 2005. He also informed about the participation of the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in a charity initiative to collect winter clothes for the most in need in New York .

The guests also had the opportunity to meet the new consul Daniela Sirakova, who welcomed the opportunity to work with the Bulgarian community in the consular region.

The concert turned into a beautiful experience for the guests that was in tune with the Christmas spirit. The crowded hall of our Consulate General and the unceasing applause for the performers testify to the great interest in the "Bulgarian Concert Evenings" initiative, which is becoming a crossroads of friendship between the Bulgarian community and the American public. The concert ended with a cocktail, where the attendees had the opportunity to meet the musicians Miryana Moteva and David Brubaker in person.
