On 6 February 2023, ambassador Pavlova hosted at the Bulgarian Embassy, the Rector of the Burgas Free University, prof. Milen Baltov. The Bulgarian scientist is in Pretoria to hold lectures at UNISA in the fields of circular and blue economy. During the meeting, the opportunities for deepening the bilateral educational cooperation and exchanges were discussed. Ambassador Pavlova briefed the guest on country-specific educational priorities of South Africa. Within his visit to the Embassy, prof. Baltov signed, via correspondence, MoU with the University of Limpopo. The guest declared his readiness to work for the upgrade of the existing scientific cooperation with South Africa and the countries in the region.
