At the invitation of the Leh Walesa Foundation, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Poland, Emil Yalnazov, attended a gala concert and reception at the Gdansk Opera, dedicated to Lech Walesa's 75th anniversary, and 35 years since his Nobel Peace Prize.

In a personal conversation with Mr. Leh Valenza Ambassador Yalnazov congratulated him on his birthday and gave him best wishes on behalf of the Bulgarian government and the Bulgarian people.

More than 500 guests, including many former and current Polish politicians, opposition officials, public figures, intellectuals, journalists, attended the event. The diplomatic corps was presented by about 20 ambassadors.

The visit of Ambassador Yalnazov was accomplished with the assistance of the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Gdansk Mr. Jan Strawinski, who was also a guest of the event.
