New Dynamics in the cooperation with the National Gibran Committee and the Gibran Museum for the realization of projects via the Bulgarian Development Aid Operational Program

27 June 2025 News

On June 21, 2025, the "National Gibran Committee" in the city of Bshari, under the projects of Bulgarian Development Aid, organized a workshop for students and their parents for restoration and conservation of artifacts. The workshop is an initiative of the "National Gibran Committee" and the "Jubran Museum". The host is the "Leon Art" Artistic Studio, housed in the "BeBsharri” guest house, which actively supports all activities contributing on a voluntary basis to the most effective and comprehensive implementation of the projects of the Bulgarian Development Aid Operational Program in the city of Bshari, dedicated to preserving the creative legacy of the world-famous writer, artist and thinker – Gibram Khalil Gibran.

The workshop is not taking place for the first time and is a testament to the incredibly active public dynamics, visibility and support created by the National Gibran Committee and the Gibran Museum in the context of the Bulgarian Development Aid projects.

The enthusiasm, diligence and inspiration of the young people and their parents contribute to the increasing prominence of the cooperation between the Bulgarian Embassy in Beirut, the National Gibran Committee and the Gibran Museum. The joint events held are gradually acquiring the status of a sustainable new tradition, the meetings of which are awaited with interest and impatience by ever growing number of people in the sacred valley of Qadisha.

The workshops contribute to the immediate and accelerated development of awareness regarding the importance of the national cultural and spiritual heritage and the shared responsibility for its preservation. Through their active participation in the project related events, the young people in Bsharri build and develop an increasingly profound understanding of their own national identity and promote the values of mutual understanding, peace, stability and prosperity for all in Lebanon.
