On September 18th, 2023, the new Bulgarian Ambassador to Beirut, Mr. Iassen Tomov, met with the President of the Lebanese National Assembly, Mr. Nabih Berri. The exchange focused on the state of bilateral relations and ways for their enhancement and deepening in the areas of education, economic cooperation, and political dialogue. There is a genuine mutual interest in further intensifying the bilateral collaboration, including through trade and industry chambers, educational and parliamentary exchange.
