On December 9-10, 2023 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Canada Mr. Plamen Georgiev paid visits to all Bulgarian Orthodox churches in Toronto and GTA – “St. Dimitar” (Brampton), “St. George”, “St. St. Kyril and Methodius” and “St. Trinity”. He had fruitful meetings with the local priests, the heads and the representatives of each temple boards. The meetings were a clear demonstration of the close attention and the respect the Bulgarian State pays to the functioning of the temples. It was agreed the existing excellent cooperation to continue in the same successful vain in the future as well.
