As part of the series of curtesy meetings aimed at establishing working relationships with the authorities in Belgium’s regions and provinces, on March 20, 2025, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Belgium, Natalia Uzunova, met with the Governor of the Province of Liège, Hervé Jamar. The Honorary Consul of Bulgaria for Wallonia, Luc Sougné, took part in the meeting as well. The discussion focused on the opportunities for further developing relations between the two countries, with special emphasis on strengthening of ties between cities and municipalities in order to build mutually beneficial partnerships and promoting educational exchanges, tourism, and investment.
