On November 21, 2023, a screening of the experimental film “There” directed by Stefan N. Shterev took place at the Consulate General.

“There” is a contemplative film in which the author, a renowned photographer and videographer, used as silent actors eight famous Bulgarian personalities, representatives of the arts and sciences, two of whom, Georgi Gospodinov and Teodosiy Teodosiev-Theo, have been guests to the Consulate General.

The camera follows those characters who say nothing about themselves and silently separate themselves from the power of their public images and from the world of their creative and social roles. They sink into themselves and merge their individual world with the natural landscapes.

The screening was followed by a discussion between the director and moviegoers from the Bulgarian community.
