On November 3, 2023, a screening of the documentary My Uncle Luben was held at the Consulate General, dedicated to one of the most interesting contemporary artists in Bulgaria, the graphic artist and creator of installations Luben Stoev. The screening was organized with the assistance of Jana Karaivanova.

The film is a Bulgarian-German co-production, directed by Nikola Boshnakov and Georgi Stoev – Jacky. The leader of the German rock band Friends of the Italian Opera Ray van Zeschau stars in the film and he wrote the music for it. Ray van Zeschau inherited an apartment from his uncle, the Bulgarian artist Luben Stoev and arrived in Sofia to sell it. However, he found many paintings, installations, stories and video materials there and began to piece together the image of his Bulgarian uncle as an artist and a person.

The film simultaneously charmed, moved and made the audience laugh.
