Radoslava Kafedzhiyska
Born on August 10th 1974 in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria.
Holds a master’s degree in Law, from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia (1998) and a master’s degree in International Relations - European Union Law from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (2008). Holds postgraduate qualifications and specialisations from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, and the Institute of Public Administration to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria.
From 1993 to 2002 worked as a legal adviser, international relations specialist, and head of the legal department in private companies in the pharmaceutical and chemistry industries in Sofia and in Botevgrad, Bulgaria.
Since 2002 has held a multitude of positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria. Has worked as director of the Legal Directorate, head of the department of Human Resources and Consular Relations Directorates, and diplomatic officer in the Security Policy and Situation Centre Directorates. Has held the positions of an advisor, consul at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Thessaloniki, Greece (2011 - 2014), consul at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Edirne, Turkey (2016 - 2020), and advisor, consul at the Consulate General of the Bulgaria in Istanbul, Turkey (2021 - 2024).
Fluent in the Bulgarian, English, Russian languages, has work proficiency in Greek, and limited proficiency in Turkish.
