The Bulgarian Christmas song "The Son of God" was performed at the St. Johannes Church in Stockholm at the Christmas concert held on December 17, 2019, on a joint initiative by the Representation of the European Commission and the embassies to Sweden of 12 EU Member States – Bulgaria, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Latvia , Hungary, Austria, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

This first of its kind multilingual concert attracted great public attention and more than 1 000 guests attended. Each participating country presented a Christmas song in their own language. The female choir “Perunica”, conducted by Michael Deltchev, performed their Christmas song, which captivated the audience with the song's exquisite harmony of the intertwining voices and tarabuka accompaniment.

The Head of the Representation of the European Commission Katarina Åreskoug-Mascarenhas welcomed the audience of the concert, which was followed by a reception with Christmas sweets and mulled wine.
