Тhe Bulgarian Orthodox Community in Malmö, South Sweden, hosted the traditional Christmas celebration

The event took place in the premises of the Sjömanskyrka in Malmö and began with a solemn Christmas liturgy served by the Bulgarian priest Angel Petrutanov, a representative of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church for Scandinavia.

After the liturgy, Mrs. Petya Zhoevska, Deputy Head of the Bulgarian Embassy in Stockholm, greeted the guests and wished them to be healthy, humble and never to lose their hope for the better future. The celebration continued with a diverse theatre and music program. Тhe children's group, led by Lydia Kovacheva, performed the play "Grandfather pulls a turnip" by Ran Bosilek. There were individual musical performances of violin, piano and solo. The dance group BG Ritmi performed various folk dances. After the Christmas lunch, Santa gave presents to the children and wished them to be healthy and good.
