According to specialized institutions, the Polish News Agency reported that in the southwestern part of Poland there have been very heavy rainfalls for the second day, which have led to dangerous floods. The agency notes that the zone of intense rainfall - the so-called "Boris law" - is expected to threaten many regions of Central Europe in the coming days, in particular in the Silesia region - the Polish-Czech border, in western Poland. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) reported on Saturday that in 41 hydrological stations the critical water level has been exceeded, and in 30 - the level is in the "warning" status.
The regional governor of Lower Silesia has called on the residents of the region to prepare for the worst. He also reported that all services are on standby and appealed to citizens to follow the recommendations of the crisis headquarters and prepare batteries, food and water.
The Minister of the Interior has called a meeting of the crisis headquarters in Nysa, southwestern Poland, to monitor the situation in the regions, from where it was reported that the next 24-36 hours will be crucial for the southern regions of Poland, where record-breaking heavy rains are falling. The danger is greatest for the provinces of Opole and Dolnośląskie.
What is happening in terms of rainfall and water levels on the Czech side is also being analyzed. He also appealed to people to trust the services and comply with evacuation decisions.

The situation is the worst in the municipality of Kłodzko, in the area of Głucholazy, Lądek-Zdrój and the city of Stronie Śląskie, where most streets and houses are under water, and the services are evacuating people;
Meanwhile, in Masovia, a tornado passed through the municipality of Jedlinsk near Radom. The storm damaged 25 roofs of residential and commercial buildings.
