To support the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (25 November – 10 December 2021), the Embassy of Bulgaria in Islamabad participated in related events organized by the EU Delegation and UN Women Office in Pakistan. Ambassador Irena Gancheva joined Heads of Mission of EU Member States and UN Women Country Representative in Islamabad Ms. Sharmeela Rassool in a social media campaign aimed at calling for elimination of violence against women and girls and stressing on the need for collective action and responsibility to end all forms of gender-based violence. The theme of the campaign is „Orange the World: End Violence Against Women Now!“.
