The Embassy of Bulgaria in Pakistan participated in the Annual Charity Bazaar, organized by Pakistan Foreign Office Women’s Association (PFOWA) in cooperation with the Diplomatic Corps, which was held on 27 November 2021 in Islamabad. The event was inaugurated by the First Lady of Pakistan Samina Alvi.
The Bulgarian stall displayed souvenirs and brochures about the cultural heritage, history and tourism opportunities in Bulgaria and was part of the common EU and EUMS participation in the event.
The generated funds will be used for PFOWA’s charitable activities in the sphere of healthcare, education and welfare aimed at assisting and improving the lives of disabled people and vulnerable groups of the Pakistani society.
