On 21 April 2025 the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Pyongyang, DPRK, has reopened after 4-year temporary pause due to the withdrawal of the diplomatic staff in 2021 as a result of the strict anti-COVID-19 measures introduced by the DPRK authorities.
