Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Pyongyang.

It is a pleasure to welcome you to this site where you can find updated information about our diplomatic mission in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, about our countries, as well as information that would be useful to foreign nationals visiting Bulgaria.

The diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and DPRK were been established in 1948. The Embassy represents the Bulgarian state, defends the interests of our citizens and works for the development of the bilateral relations.

Although there is no Bulgarian community in the country and few Bulgarians visit it, the doors of the Embassy, as well as this website, are always wide open to all compatriots and friends of Bulgaria.
