Bulgarians in Lebanon celebrated Independence Day with an exhibition in Tyre

On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Bulgaria - September 22, at the historical and cultural monument Mamluk House in the city of Tyre, an exhibition entitled 'The Address of Art' was opened. The event was organized jointly by the Hebros Art Gallery in Plovdiv, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Lebanon and the Association of the Graduates of Bulgarian Universities in Lebanon. It was hosted by the Municipality of Tyre and also sponsored by the State Cultural Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and the airline Bulgaria Air.

The exhibition was attended by representatives of the municipality of Tyre, prominent public figures of the city, members of the afore mentioned association, officers from the Lebanese security forces and more than 80 troops from UNIFIL from different nations.

The exhibition included works of 13 Bulgarian artists Atanas Hranov, Rumen Nechev, Hristo Bozukov, Angel Pachamanov, Nenko Chanev, Vihra Grigorova, Asparuh Sarbov, Valeri Tsenov, Nikolay Nyagolov, Geraksi Geraksiev, Georgi Kolarov, Georgi Petrov and Todor Ovcharov.
