The Deputy Head of the Bulgarian Mission in Nur-Sultan, Mr. Atanas Budev, held a meeting with Mr. Georgiy Kravchenko – Head of the Youth Section of the Public Association “Bulgarian Cultural Center in Almaty Region" (Taldykorgan, Republic of Kazakhstan).

The meeting was focused on maintaining closer cooperation with the Bulgarian diaspora from Almaty Region, promoting the activities of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria, aimed at the Bulgarians abroad, discussing the opportunities to study Bulgarian language and literature abroad, as well as to promote the cultural and educational activities of the Bulgarian Cultural Center in Almaty Region.

According to the information provided by Mr. Kravchenko, the main activity of the cultural center is  currently aimed at promoting Bulgarian culture and customs during cultural events organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Almaty Region
