Visit of the Prime Minister Boyko Borissov to the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov paid an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the period 10-12 July 2016. He was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister for European Funds and Economic Policies Tomislav Donchev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov, the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications and co-chair of the Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Islamic Republic of Iran Ivaylo Moskovski, the Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov, the Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova, the Head of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister Angelina Toteva, the Deputy Minister of Economy Lyuben Petrov, the Media Advisor to the Prime Minister Sevdelina Arnaudova and a 14-member business delegation.
During the visit the Prime Minister held working meetings with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hassan Rouhani, the First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri and the Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Ali Larijani. Parallel with the meetings a trading forum with the participation of the accompanying business delegation was organized and opened by the Deputy Minister of Economy Lyben Petrov.
