On November 26-27, 2025, the Consul General of Bulgaria Vladislav Spasov visited Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. He took part in a meeting of Consuls General from Shanghai with the Mayor of Nanjing Mr. Li Zhongjun. In his former capacity as Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, Mr. Li Zhongjun visited Bulgaria on September 22-26, 2025. The Consul General reiterated to the Chinese host our country’s desire for further development of bilateral relations with Nanjing in the fields of economy, science, education, and culture.

The Consul General attended the opening ceremony of the 10th World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference (November 27, 2025) and presented Bulgaria at the Jiangsu Enterprises Going Global (European Session) Salon. With the support of InvestBulgaria Agency and National Company Industrial Zones, he presented the advantages of Bulgaria as an investment destination to the attending officials of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and approximately 70 Chinese companies.
