Ambassador Uzunova participated in two consecutive meetings of the Heads of Missions (HoMs) of the EU Member States in Luxembourg, organized under the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU. On May 6, 2026, the EU Ambassadors held a working lunch with the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden. On May 13, 2026, the HoMs also met with Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Development Cooperation, and Humanitarian Affairs, Xavier Bettel. An open, forward-looking and in-depth exchange of views took place on key issues related to the preservation of the international order, EU unity, enlargement policy, partnerships, and the European Union’s competitiveness, in the context of growing geopolitical challenges.
