On December 13, 2025, a reception was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Baku for the representatives of the Bulgarian community residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was organized on the initiative of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ruslan Stoyanov to mark the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

This was the fourth meeting in 2025 for the representatives of the Bulgarian community in Baku.

About 40 guests attended the reception, including representatives of Bulgarian business circles, athletes, teachers and family members of Bulgarian citizens.

During the reception, children decorated the Christmas tree, for which they received gifts from the Embassy.

The head of the mission warmly congratulated the guests on the upcoming holidays, briefly informed them about the main activities carried out by the Embassy over the past year to further develop the Bulgarian-Azerbaijani relations, and assured them that the Embassy will continue to support the activities of the Bulgarian community in Baku in preserving and promoting Bulgarian culture, history and traditions. The reception took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
