Nikolay Yankov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Baku and Dr. Anar Nagiyev, Acting Rector of the Baku Slavic University signed an agreement for a grant in the amount of BGN 40,000, awarded to the Baku Slavic University. Among the goals of the project funded by the Bulgarian Development Aid are strengthening Bulgarian Studies area and application of student centered learning into the curricula of linguistics and translation studies at the BSU. A significant part of the funds will be allocated on modernization and providing new equipment of the Bulgarian Language Center at the university.

The two sides noted that the project marks a new beginning of an even stronger partnership and expressed confidence in the success and benefits of the cooperation related to the implementation of the "Partnership through Language" project.
