Ambassador Gergana Karadzhova reaffirmed Bulgaria’s support for UNICEF and called for the protection of children’s rights in the digital age

In her statement, she reaffirmed Bulgaria’s strong support for UNICEF and stressed the importance of protecting children’s rights in the digital age. She highlighted that children’s rights, safety and meaningful participation must remain at the heart of discussions on emerging technologies and AI governance, while also underscoring the need for predictable funding so UNICEF can continue delivering for the world's most vulnerable children.
