Ambassador Gergana Karadjova met with Gil Kapen, Executive Director of the American Jewish International Relations Institute – B’nai B’rith International (AJIRI-BBI).
During the meeting, they discussed potential joint initiatives in the interest of both Bulgaria and the American Jewish International Relations Institute. “I highly value Bulgaria’s support, you Ambassador, and your country are great friends of Israel and of our organization,” Kapen said.
Ambassador Gergana Karadjova emphasized that respect for international law and human rights should serve as a guiding principle in the formulation and implementation of all policies.
During the discussion, Bulgaria’s Permanent Representative to the UN and the Executive Director of the American Jewish International Relations Institute agreed on the importance of achieving lasting peace in the Middle East, as well as fostering predictable economies and quality education in the region.
During the meeting, Gil Kapen also presented the work and history of his organization.
