The UN commemorated the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child

On 20 November 2019 the UNGA hosted the Commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Ambassador Georgi Panayotov intervened in an interactive panel with children on the topic "For every child, every right", which featured a Q&A session on the various issues that impact the inclusion or lack thereof of children, including the most vulnerable.
The morning session also featured the President of the General Assembly, the UN Secretary General, the Executive Director of UNICEF and other representatives from the UN system, as well as UNICEF's Goodwill Ambassadors - Millie Bobby Brown and David Beckham.
On 21 November Bulgaria also delivered a national statement in the General Debate, along with more than 110 other States, many of which included children in their delegations.
