The International Day of Persons with Disabilities was commemorated at the UNHQ. The Permanent Representative of Bulgaria was invited to address the participants in his capacity as President of the Conference of the States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2017-2018. Ambassador Panayotov presented the achievements of the Bulgaria-led Bureau of the Conference whose work was praised by Member States, NGO’s and the civil society.
