Тhe Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York hosted an event organized by the Bulgarian Angels Club on the topic of the development of the Bulgarian startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial spirit.

The event brought together dozens of representatives of the Bulgarian community in New York and the surrounding area, who expressed interest in learning more about entrepreneurial activities in Bulgaria and the opportunities for investment in innovative projects.

Consul General Angel Angelov welcomed the guests, pointing out that in the "city that never sleeps" there is an active and entrepreneurial Bulgarian community and expressed the expectation that it will appreciate the potential and opportunities that the Bulgarian startup ecosystem offers.

After a short presentation by Elena Nikolova, a board member of the Bulgarian Angels Club, a lively discussion revealed the Bulgarian community’s desire to get more actively involved in the development of Bulgarian startup projects and technological innovations.
