The Consul General of Bulgaria in New York Angel Angelov attended a concert of the Bulgarian Sunday school “ Roden Kraj” in New Jersey and greeted the students and their teachers and parents. The school celebrated three important Bulgarian holidays – Baba Marta (March 1^st, the National Day of Bulgaria (March 3^rd) and the International women’s day and the Day of the Mother (March 8^th). The program included dozens of poems, songs, dances and a shorth theatrical play. The concert was followed by a buffet with traditional Bulgarian meals, raffle and Bulgarian folklore dances (horo).

Bulgarian school "Roden Krai" for central and northern New Jersey was founded in October 2017 as a non-profit organization 501 (c) (3). The school is officially recognized by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science and is included in the register of the Bulgarian Sunday schools abroad from 2019/2020.
