On February 3, 2023 the Annual meeting of the American College of Sofia was held to celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the reopening of the College in 1992. The event was hosted by the Bulgarian Consulate in New York. Ms. Theodora Konetsovska, Board Chair, Ms. Emily Sargent Beasley, President, trustees, alumni and friends of the College attended the celebration. 

The Consul General Dr. Angel Angelov welcomed the guests and confirmed his openness to continue working with the College with the aim of promoting academic and business opportunities for Bulgaria and the US.

During the event an assessment of the achievements so far was made and the prospects for the further development of the oldest American-founded high school outside the US were discussed.

In Bulgaria, the 30^th anniversary of the College will be celebrated in the spring of 2023.
