On January 24, 2023 the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York hosted the screening of the full-length documentary “105 Minutes Sofia – the History of the City”. The film follows the historic stages that the Bulgarian capital went through to get to its present look – from the first artefacts discovered near Sofia dated 6000 BC till nowadays. 

Before the screening the Consul General Mr. Angel Angelov welcomed the guests and presented to them the upcoming cultural events hosted by the Consulate General.

The documentary was presented by Mr. Sevar Ivanov, executive producer and actor. The screening was held in front of a large audience, including representatives of the Bulgarian community and many American guests. After the screening there was an informal discussion over a glass of wine.
