This official page is intended for those wishing to receive up-to-date information about Bulgaria, its history, culture, institutions, economy, training opportunities, travel tips and consular messages.

In recent years, there has been a tendency to strengthen relations between our state and the UK in the fields of education, trade and economic relations, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. Before the pandemic of COVID-19, a significant increase in the number of travelers from UK to Bulgaria was observed.

The main goal of the diplomatic mission is to provide adequate, timely, professional consular services, to support the Bulgarian communities, to assist the schools, to build together and create with the compatriots a small Bulgaria far from the Fatherland.

The striving for the strengthening and expansion of the mutually beneficial cooperation and the relations of Bulgaria with the north regions of UK is constant. Therefore, our work with local institutions and the help that our compatriots can provide us, who have become a natural bridge of friendship between the two regions for enriching contacts, are of special importance to us.
