Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Belgrade!
In 2026, Bulgaria and Serbia will mark 147 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. Belgrade is among the first three capitals in which Bulgarian diplomatic missions were opened after the Liberation.
The mission’s priorities include supporting projects of mutual interest in the fields of security, transport, infrastructure, business, tourism, culture, education and sports.
A key task of the Embassy is the protection of the rights and interests of the Bulgarian national minority, as well as of all Bulgarian citizens residing in or travelling through the Republic of Serbia.
Through this website, we will keep you informed about important events in our bilateral relations, as well as cultural, educational, economic, and social initiatives involving the Embassy.
