The General Consulate in St. Petersburg issued its 50,000th visa for the year 2016. The visa was issued to the 1-year old Elisaveta Ostromuhova from St. Petersburg. She and her family will spend one week of their holiday at the Bulgarian resort Sunny Beach.

The ceremony was held in the diplomatic mission and Elisaveta's father, Lev Ostromuhov, received a free visa, a bottle of Bulgarian wine and a book about the temple "Alaksander Nevsky".
