On occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, November 25th, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Lisbon took part in the initiative of the Association of Women Ambassadors in Portugal for a Family photo of the diplomatic corps with the Mayor of Lisbon Mr. Carlos Moedas, of raising awareness on Elimination of Violence Against Women.

As from 1 March 2020, road vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum weight exceeding 3,5 tonnes circulating on paid road sections in Bulgaria will have to pay for their use distance-based road charges – toll. The toll replaces the electronic vignette for heavy vehicles and buses.
