Participation of the Bulgarian Embassy and BKI in the Francophone Film Festival in Warsaw

On March 23, 2024, in the large hall of the prestigious Warsaw cinema "Muranow", a favorite place for connoisseurs of the seventh art in the Polish capital, a screening of the Bulgarian documentary film "Paris of Bogdana Karadocheva" by directors Emma Konstantinova and Georgi Toshev took place. The film, created in 2014, tells the story of the Parisian episode of the professional biography of the great Bulgarian singer and her love for France and French culture.
The screening, which was very well attended, was preceded by a short speech in Polish and French by a representative of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw - Mr. P. Lianguzov, who introduced the film, as well as Bulgaria's participation in the Francophone movement. The film, dubbed in Bulgarian, was broadcast with subtitles in Polish and French, the translation of which was prepared by the BKI.
The film was screened as part of the ongoing Francophone Film Festival in Warsaw, which marks Francophonie Month (March 5-26). Bulgaria was one of eight countries participating in the festival, along with France, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Romania, Luxembourg and Morocco.
