An international conference was held in Warsaw on the topic "Energy Security after 2023 - Achieving Winter Readiness in Turbulent Times"

On September 14, an international conference on "Energy Security Beyond 2023 - Achieving Winter Readiness in Turbulent Times" was held in Warsaw. The meeting was attended by ministers and deputy ministers of energy from across Europe, as well as the Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine (via video link) Herman Galushchenko, and the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency Mary Burse Warlick. The aim of the conference was to exchange experience and good practices from the difficult and tense past year and to discuss future challenges facing the energy sector.

During the discussion, the Deputy Minister of Energy of Bulgaria Krasimir Nenov emphasized that "the energy transition must be structured, smooth and fair, so that no one is left behind." The forum also created an opportunity for the Bulgarian Deputy Minister to hold bilateral meetings and talks with the Ministers of Energy of Great Britain, Slovakia, Lithuania, as well as with the Minister of Climate and Environment of Poland - Anna Moskva, which were also attended by H.E. Margarita Ganeva - Ambassador of Bulgaria to Poland.
