At the Presidential Palace in Warsaw on January 12, 2023. after a two-year break, the first New Year's meeting of the Polish presidential couple with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Poland took place. The event was also attended by: the President of the Senate, the Deputy President of the Sejm, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, senior spiritual representatives of all faiths in Poland and other guests.
Ambassador Margarita Ganeva held short talks with: President Andrzej Duda and his wife, with whom they exchanged wishes and readiness to develop the potential of bilateral cooperation this year; with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki; the President of the Senate - Prof. Tomasz Grodski; with the Orthodox Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland - His Beatitude Sava, etc.
The message of the President of the Republic of Poland outlined the foreign policy priorities, including: security policy, support for Ukraine, further strengthening of Polish-American relations and those in the region, building the image of Poland as an important subject of international politics; economic diplomacy, including the promotion of Polish entrepreneurship abroad and further building the image of Poland as a key factor in international politics, especially in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
