Meetings of the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. with the Heads of EUAM and NMI Missions

As part of his introductory meetings, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Baghdad, Mr. Valentin Nikolov, held separate meetings with Brigadier General Ralf Schröder (Germany), Head of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM Iraq), and Major General Christophe Hintzy (France), Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq (NMI).
The meetings took place at the respective headquarters of the two missions – at Al-Rasheed Hotel and Union III base in Baghdad. Both were held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, with an exchange of views on current areas of cooperation and on the missions’ priorities in support of Iraqi institutions.
Mr. Nikolov reaffirmed Bulgaria’s readiness to continue contributing to the international community’s efforts to strengthen Iraq’s security, stability, and institutional capacity.
