On September 17th, 2017 the Director of “Asia, Australia and Oceania” Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Mr. Angel Orbetsov visited Tehran to participate in a Seminar dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Iran. Ambassador Orbetsov delivered a speech on the topic “Establishment and Development of the Bilateral Relations between Bulgaria and Iran” and opened an exhibition of archival documents and diplomatic correspondence, tracing the historical development of the bilateral relations. He also met Iranian officials to discuss the further expansion of the cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
