Ambassador Christo Polendakov paid an official visit the town of Khorramabad- administrative center of the Iranian province Lorestan in the period 10-12.07.2017, . Ambassador Polendakov was accompanied by Mr. Tsvetan Aleksov, Head of the Bulgarian Embassy’s Trade and Economic Affairs Service and a business delegation from the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city ofStara Zagora, led by its President Mr. Oleg Stoilov. During the visit, Ambassador Polendakov held meetings with the Governor of the Province of Lorestan, the Mayor of Khorramabad, with the leadership of the Lorestan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agricultureandwith representatives of the business community of the province. Ambassador Polendakov participated in a Conference on "Development of economic cooperation between the province of Lorestan and Bulgaria". The Bulgarian delegation also visited a number of the leading companies in the Khorramabadarea.
