On 13.12.2016 the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tehran became member of EUNIC-Iran, the local cluster of the European Union National Institutes for Culture in Iran. At the ceremony Mr. Zhivko Kanchev, First Secretary, and Mr. Georgi Petrov, attachè, on behalf of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Tehran, presented to the President of EUNIC-Iran the Charter of the cluster, signed by H.E. Christo Polendakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Iran. Thus the Bulgarian Embassy declared its willingness to actively contribute to the joint cultural projects of the EUNIC member-states in Iran.
