On September 15, 2020, the Bulgarian Embassy in Helsinki hosted another series of Historical Seminars dedicated to Finland's past. The seminar is held on the initiative of Ambassador Martin Ivanov.

The former Foreign Minister H.E. Timo Soini, presented the history of Finnish populism and his recently published book on subject. The event was attended by the Ambassadors of Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Canada, Austria, Turkey, Croatia, Mexico, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Great Britain, Romania, Poland, Germany and the doyen of the diplomatic corps. Due to the increased interest, a second edition of seminar is forthcoming in early October.
