Welcome to the website of the Bulgarian Embassy in Cairo!

Egypt was the first Arab state with which Bulgaria established diplomatic relations (February 3, 1926). Over the years, the two countries have established a good tradition of friendship and mutually beneficial relations.

In the last few years, the Republic of Bulgaria and the Arab Republic of Egypt have achieved a new dynamic of bilateral cooperation. Political dialogue has been raised to a higher level. It has set the basis for enabling stonger cooperation in the field of trade and investment, energy and energy security, tourism, agriculture and food, security, transport, culture, education and others.

The mission of the Bulgarian Embassy in Cairo is to encourage and contribute to the further dynamic development and realization of the serious potential of cooperation in all spheres, to assist in improving contacts between the citizens of the two countries, to promote tourism, education and cultural exchange.

We strive to protect the rights and interests of all Bulgarian citizens residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing quality consular assistance. We also support all initiatives aimed at preserving the national identity of our compatriots.
