1984 – Master in International Relations, International Relations and International Law Department, Kiev State University

The same year joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as intern-attache.

1984 – 1986 served in the Bulgarian Army.

1986 – 1991 -  intern-attache, attache and third secretary, Consular Department, MFA.

1991 – 1995 – third secretary, second secretary, charge d’affairs (1992-1993), Embassy in Kuwait, The State of Kuwait.

1995 – 1998 – second secretary in HR and Consular Departments, MFA.

1996 – internship in European Commission, GD XV.

Short-term (1997) and long-term (1998) observer In missions of OSCE in Bosna and Herzegovina.

1998 – 2001 – first secretary, political section, Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine.

2001 – 2005 – first secretary, counsellor, Consular Department, MFA.

             2002 – 2005 – Head of the National Visa Center.

2005 – 2006 – counsellor in Consulate General in Chicago, Ill., USA.

2007 – 2010 – counsellor, minister-counsellor, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy in the Hague, The Netherlands.

2010 – 2013 – Head of Americas Department.

2013 – 2014 – Head of Human Resources Department, MFA.

2014 – 2019 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Prishtina, the Republic of Kosovo.

2019 until now – ambassador in the Inspectorate, Head of Inspectorate (2021), Secretary in Chief of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (May – December 2021), Head of Inspectorate, MFA.

11.04.2023 presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides

Fluent in English and Russian.
