Solo Exhibition of Bulgarian Artist Assadour Markarov in Ningbo

On June 6, 2026, a solo exhibition of Bulgarian artist Asadur Markarov was opened at the WAS Art Center in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It is titled “Narrative talks with my self” and is produced by Ms. Li Chunxia.
In recent years, Professor Assadour Markarov has been actively creating in the Yangtze River Delta region as well as leading the art life in the area by being the motor of many projects, including: curator of the exhibition “From East to West” in Ningbo (June 2021), part of the Bulgarian team at the 17th International Exhibition of Culture and Creative Industries in Hangzhou (November 2023), one of the main organizers of the Bulgarian-Chinese contemporary art exhibition “Ceramic Transitions” in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province (May 2024), and curator of the 5th Hangzhou Triennial of Fiber Art in Hangzhou (September 2025).
At the opening of the exhibition "Narrative talks with my self", Consul General Vladislav Spasov highly appreciated the active role of Professor Assadour Markarov in the development of Bulgarian-Chinese relations in the field of fine arts and education. Colleagues, students, and friends of the Bulgarian artist were in attendance.
The exhibition is open to visitors until July 7, 2026.
