The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE-2024) is taking place in Shanghai from 5th to 10th November 2024. In the Food and Agricultural Products area Chinese importers of Bulgarian goods exhibit products of the Bulgarian companies Biofresh, Bulgarian Rose-Karlovo and others.

During the CIIE-2024 the Consul General Vladislav Spasov participated at the Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum organized by the State Administration for Market Regulation. He presented the history of essential rose oil production in Bulgaria, the Institute of Roses and Essential Oil Crops located in Kazanlak, as well as the demand for Bulgarian rose oil on the international market.

At the invitation of the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, the Consul General participated at the Dialogue on China-CEEC Digital Economic and Trade Cooperation. Representatives of the Department of European Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and other Central and Eastern European Countries also participated at the Dialogue.

According to the organizers of CIIE-2024, the 7th CIIE has attracted 3 496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions. 297 of the represented companies are part of the Fortune Global 500 list.
