The Bulgarian delegation was headed by Ekaterina Zaharieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was co-chaired for the EU by the High Representative, Federica Mogherini, and for the LAS, by M.A. Al-Dirdiri, the Foreign Minister of the Sudan, and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary General of the League of Arab States.

The first ministerial meeting of the EU and the African Union was held in Brussels today. The Bulgarian delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the judicial reform and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva. Bulgaria, Estonia, and Austria officially adopted the program for the priorities of the European Union for the next 18 months. This took place at a trilateral meeting in Brussels of the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, his Estonian counterpart – Juri Ratas and the Austrian Prime Minister Christian Kern.
