Flowers placed on the monument of the Apostle of Freedom of the Bulgarians in Brussels

On 18 July 2011 an official tribute marking the 174th anniversary of the birth of “The Apostle of Freedom”, as the Bulgarians refer to their national hero Vassil Levski, took place in Brussels. Representatives of the three diplomatic missions of Bulgaria in the Belgian capital, of the Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva ant the Bulgarian community placed flowers on the Levski’s bas-relief in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Brussels.
The Permanent Representative of Bulgaria to NATO Ambassador Todor Churov laid flowers on behalf of the Permanent Delegation of Bulgaria to NATO.
